Social entrepreneur Becki Long
We see hope in Becki.

Becki Long, now in Year 12 at Luckley-Oakfield School, first heard about the SEP when she was in Year 10. She and some friends tried various ways of turning their tenners into £100 with mixed success until they hit on the idea of making custom-designed hoodies and polo shirts. They targeted girls going on school trips and made £317 profit. In Year 11, Becki continued with the business and shrewdly expanded the market to school leavers. She increased the profit margin by switching to a local printer who, knowing the school and HOPEHIV, offered her a good discount. She made another £665, bringing her total profit to an amazing £982!

This project has given me a great experience... I hope to continue raising more money in the future.
